who was once in control of nearly everything
may his bones lay untouched;
free from the clutches of those who might gain too much

how he called his finest men
and they charged into the night
and they faced down the blackness
as they drew to the source of the light

to the thoughts of the queen
it's been five hundred years since she fled the scene
as the men scaled the walls
well, she knew in that moment she would surely fall
